An additional 15, 000 tickets for three of England’s Rugby World Cup pool matches went on sale today, offering a final chance to watch the team take on Fiji, Wales or Australia at Twickenham. A further 30, 000 tickets for the knock-out stages will go on sale on Wednesday.

Both sales will be open only to those who applied for tickets in the September 2014 ballot but were unsuccessful. Any tickets that remain unsold will go on general sale on Thursday, along with 30, 000 for other Pool A and B matches. A further 20, 000 tickets for Pool C and D match will be up for grabs on Friday.

Among them are three exclusive packages for Telegraph readers, each of which feature dinner and drinks with former former World Cup winner Will Greenwood, former international Austin Healey and the Telegraph’s chief rugby writer Mick Cleary; tickets to England v Wales, England v Australia or the World Cup Final; private transfers; a tour of the museum at Twickenham; and a two-night stay at the five-star Conrad London St James.

The following options may also prove appealing:

September 26: England v Wales (Twickenham, London). Match packages with travel to the stadium from £399 a head; packages with tickets, travel and hotel from £549 a head.

October 3: England v Australia (Twickenham, London). Packages for this big Pool A clash start at £849 per person, including tickets and two nights’ accommodation.

October 24/25: The semi-finals (Twickenham, London). Packages including tickets for one of these key games and one night’s accommodation in London start at £699 a head.

October 31: The final (Twickenham, London). Packages for the epic conclusion, with match ticket and two nights’ accommodation, start at £1469 per person.
